Ruth Olsen Reichenberg

Ms. Reichenberg was born October, 28, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Walter and Loretta Ashley Olsen and was of the Lutheran faith. She was a member of the Georgia Knitting Guild, member of the Button and Bows Quilting Club, did a tremendous amount of volunteer work, including volunteering for the Red Cross and assisting in blood donors.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Tom Olsen.

Surviving are her children, Erik and Jane Reichenberg of Roseboro, N.C., Lisa Reichenberg and Dan Fishback of Winder, Ga., and Karla Reichenberg Sperling of Rydal, Ga., three grandchildren, Christopher Reichenberg, Erika Reichenberg, and Brooke and Mark Anderson, two great-grandchildren, Devon Anderson and Jaden Bedoya, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at Providence Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. with Chaplain Bob Goodner officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or to the Tranquility House.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
