Sandra Badger Moore

Sandy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gary Moore; her son and daughter Derek and Meredith Moore; her stepdaughters, Diane Sullivan and Melissa Merritt.

She was a devoted, selfless, and beloved wife and Mom. She loved her family and serving others. She loved history and was able to share her passion while working for over 23 years at the Bartow History Museum. She also loved to travel, especially to the Great Smoky Mountains. She will be remembered for her kindness and wisdom.

She was an active member of the New Covenant Methodist Church and loved the Lord and her church family.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Owen Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

The interment will be at 11:30 am on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Arlington Memorial Park Sandy Springs, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sandy's honor to Samaritan's Purse with their Operation Christmas Child project.
