

Mrs. Findley was born July 11, 1952 in Gordon County, the daughter of Beatrice (Neal) Young and the late John Homer Young and was of the Baptist faith. She was a juvenile court clerk for Bartow County. Mrs. Findley loved to travel, shop, canning vegetables in the summer and going to the lake house. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Young, her sister, Carolyn Collum and grandparents, Jess and Lou Della Neal and Charles and Mamie Young.
Surviving is her husband of 43 years, Michael Findley, two loving daughters, Amy (Rob) Gore, April (Brandon) Channell, her loving son, Ashley Findley, her precious grandchildren, Austin and Hallie Gore, Brayden Channell, special niece and nephew, Rachel Collum Vaughn and Grayson Vaughn and a number of other nieces and nephews, her mother, Beatrice Young, brothers and sisters that never left her side during her illness, Martha Temples, Wilma Findley, Mary Jane (Ronnie) Self, Mamie (Randy) Pierson, Paul Young, Jimmy (Nancy) Young and John (Tammy)Young.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hoyt Jones, Rev. Tommy Harris and Judge Velma Tilley officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Self, Jordon Pierson, Joseph Temples, Jeremy Temples, Bryon Young, Ryan Young, Neal Young and Danny Young.
Honorary pallbearers will be Juvenile Court and the Department of Juvenile Justice.
