Sarah Mulkey

Sarah Katherine Mulkey, age 94, of Cartersville, GA passed away on Friday, January 4, 2024, at Winthrop Health and Rehab Center in Rome, GA. Sarah was born January 25, 1929, to the late James and Viola Tressler Fetters in Bellefonte, PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Harrison Mulkey; her daughter Patricia Kathryn Mulkey; stepson Ronald Shelp and granddaughter Ashley Kay Newman; brothers Gerald Fetters, John “Jack” Fetters, LeRoy “Jake” Fetters, and sister Patsy “Pat” Newman.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Donnie) Boatner of Silver Creek, her grandchildren Shane (Barbara) Dudley, Stacy (John) Gregory, Kati Newman, and Kayla Brock; and has several great grandchildren. Sarah is also survived by her brothers, Thomas Fetters of Bellefonte, Norman (Gay) Fetters of Bellefonte, and her sister Esther (Carl) Schreffler of Bellefonte, PA.

Sarah was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Atco Baptist Church. She retired from Clorox and then became a private caretaker for many years.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Atco Baptist Church with Reverend Justin Holcomb officiating.The service will be at 2:00 PM and the burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
