Sibyl Doss Jordan

Mrs. Jordan was born December 20, 1925 the daughter of the late, Will and Edna Carpenter Doss, was co-owner and operator of Jordan Produce for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy M. Jordan and two brother- in- laws, Dorsey Nally and Odis Kiser.

Surviving are her daughters and sons in law, Sharon and Lee Cline of Cartersville, Lynn and Gary Wilson of Cartersville, grandchildren, Cherish and Kevin Rhodeback, Jenny and Donnie Collier, Dawn Wilson and her husband, Ed Kilgore, four great grandchildren, Andi and Jolea Prokop, Brooke Ekstrom, Kyle Rhodeback, sister and brother in law, Louise and Brady Moss of Rydal, sister, Martha Kiser of Cartersville, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Harris officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Larry and Nicholas Bohannon, Donnie Collier, Kevin Rhodeback, Ed Kilgore and Harvey Kelly.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
