Syble Bell Reed

Mrs. Syble Bell Reed, age 71 of Acworth, GA passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cartersville, GA on July 17, 1949 to the late Richard Bell and Evvie Martin Bell.

Syble was a generous, sweet and caring soul. She loved to travel to the beach and the mountains but most of all she loved her family and was a wonderful friend to many. Syble will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Syble was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bobby Bell, Alvin Bell; sister, Nancy Bell Morris. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Greg Reed; son, Alex (Elizabeth) Reed; grandchildren, Cameron and Quinn Reed; sisters, Kathryn Lipscomb, Opal Sligh; brother, Andy Bell.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Keith Dempsey officiating. Ronnie Nix, Russell Bell, Gary Reed, Steven Bell, Jerry Dixon, Jessie Willis and Rex Shepherd will be serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Syble to Wofford’s Crossroads Baptist Church P.O. Box 59 White, GA 30184.
