Terry is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Phenia Teems and Robert M. and Lucile Henson.
He is survived by his father, Robert “Bobby” Milton Henson, Jr.; aunt, Diane Haney and cousin, Shane Haney.
Terry was a retired branch manager and officer with SunTrust (Truist) Bank. Following retirement he was an adjunct professor of computers. He loved to study history, Georgia Football and the Atlanta Falcons. As a child Terry enjoyed camping and riding his Honda 70 Series mini-motorcycle. He was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 beginning at 1pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 2pm at Owen Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens.
