Uncle Tommy was a special man I’m happy to say over the last couple of years I was able to get to know him better. During some of our conversations he spoke of some regrets and of course happy times. Uncle Tommy was a dynamic person with many sides, on the outside here e was tough like leather on the inside a big marshmallow (don’t tell him i said that) his laugh was contagious and he had a way of making you feel like you knew each other for years. Uncle Tommy will be incredibly missed by all.

“The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.”

Psalm 121:7-8

Thomas L. Boucher was born in upstate NY., but as young children we were all moved to Cartersville GA. That was our mothers home
and all our family on her side lived there.
Thomas went to Cassville School, and always liked hanging with our dad who was a very good builder, Thomas looks the most like our dad and was most likely the best builder in our family.
Thomas mother Francis Lucille Cooper-Boucher and father Guy R. Boucher Sr. and brother Guy R. Boucher Jr, and son Mark have all predeceased Thomas.
Thomas has 3 brothers, Fred H. Boucher of Georgia, Kenneth S. Boucher of New Jersey and Gary L. Boucher of Texas, 2 sisters Rosetta O. Gani, of Georgia and Holly Boucher-Nicol of Florda, he also leaves behind 2 daughters, Laura Boucher-Griffin and Tara Lynn McClary both of Florida. Thomas leaves a number of Grandkids, nieces and nephews and cousins behind.
Thomas was my younger brother and over the past 6 years we have become very close, 3 times a week phone calls to check up on each other, a few good laughs of times gone by.
I will miss Tommy as I called him, he is the second brother we have lost in the past 2 years my heart is full of sadness at this loss. Praying that he is at peace and I will again see him sometimes in the future.

I didn't get to spend most of my childhood with my dad, but I am so thankful for the time I did have with him!! His sense of humor could lighten any situation. When we lost my brother in 2018, he was my rock and helped me through the emptiness I was feeling and the pain that comes with losing a sibling (or a son in his case)!! I can not drive past a waffle house without memories of him pouring into my mind!! He was a great man and will be deeply missed💔

I met Tommy at Waffle House in 1988, after experiencing a particularly difficult divorce. There were different sides to Tommy and I think I saw them all in the years I knew him. He was my dear friend and I'm so glad I got to know him.
