Tony Eugene Leonard, 59, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at his home in Cartersville, Georgia. Tony was born August 27, 1959 in Calhoun GA, son of the late Roy Leonard and Syble Elaine Young Evans.

Tony served his country in the United States Airforce and was employed with Quest Trucking as a Manager for several years. He also enjoyed playing golf. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his loving mother Syble Evans of Cartersville, GA, a brother William Mark (Kathy)Evans of Omaha, Nebraska, sisters; Paula Leonard of Cartersville, GA, Cheryl Land of Calhoun, Ga, Kimberly Watkins of Calhoun, Ga and Jennifer Evans of Cartersville, Ga.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Clinton Green and the Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from six o’clock in the evening until nine at Owen Funeral Home.

Prayers for all your family during this sad time. Tony (Muchie) as everyone in school called him was the sweetest young man ever! He was my Prom date one year in HS was always so very respectful. Gone to soon! His memories will remain forever💕
