Mrs. Hufstetler was born July 29, 1928 in Alabama, a daughter of John and Nellie Hurst Leonard.
She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.
Preceded in death by her husband, Scott Hufstetler, she is survived by two daughters, Sheila Cox and Jeanette Jacobs, both of Acworth, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a sister, Pauline Jacobs, of Cartersville, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Gail Prater.
Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 28, 2011, from the Chapel of the Owen Funeral Home, with Rev. Floyd Hufstetler officiating. Interment was in the Center Church of God of Union Assembly.
Pallbearers were Robert and Joey Dockery, Keith Maddox, Aaron Prince, Mark Hullender, and Charles Blackmon. Honorary pallbearers were John Cox and Stan Tucker.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, was in charge of the arrangements.
