

Vicki Diane Curio, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at the age of 59. Born on June 10, 1966, Vicki lived a life filled with love, laughter, devotion to family, and cherished memories that will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
Vicki was the loving wife and soulmate of Charles Rick Curio. Together, they shared 40 wonderful years of marriage filled with unwavering love, loyalty, adventure, and companionship. Some of Vicki’s happiest moments were spent with Rick in the Great Smoky Mountains, sitting beside the river collecting rocks and enjoying the beauty and peace of nature together. Those quiet moments reflected the deep love they shared throughout their lives.
She was a devoted mother to her children: Lindsay Aslakson (Jeremy Aslakson), Carrie Williams, (Clayne Williams) Molli Curio, Katelyn Curio, and Skyler Kintner (Lacy Kintner). Vicki loved her children fiercely and found immense joy in watching her family grow over the years.
Vicki was also a proud grandmother to Tristen, Hayden, Skylyn, Abbi, JC, Anna, Desirae, and Kynzi, as well as a loving great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She leaves behind her loving mother, Linda Walkoff. Vicki was preceded in death by her father, John Payne, and her stepfather, Robert Walkoff.
Anyone who knew Vicki knew her warmth instantly. Her smile could light up a room, and her laughter was truly contagious. She had a kind heart, a caring spirit, and a way of making people feel welcomed and loved. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life honoring Vicki will be held on July 25, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Riverside Day Use Area. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate the beautiful life and lasting memories of Vicki Diane Curio.
