

Wayne was born on the family farm in Wyandott County, Kansas, on April 23, 1929.
He graduated from High School in 3yrs, after which he served in the Korean war as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army. Following his discharge, he went on to graduate in 3yrs, with a Bachelor's degree, in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to work for the State of California and the County of Sacramento, from which he retired.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 34 years, Rachel Juanita (Faught) Wagner, daughter Cheryl Wagner, and son, David Wagner.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara (Echols) Wagner, son Charles Wagner, daughter Rebekah Pauley, daughter Cynthia Wagner, and son Bobby Coffey; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Loving spouses of his grandchildren and great grandchildren are always included, but the math got too hard.
