

Butch was born on November 24, 1948 in Cedartown, GA, son of the late William Lathiel Cook, Sr. and Helen Landers Cook.
He was a life-long truck driver and retired from Crane Transportation after many years of dedicated service.
Butch is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Parsons; sisters, Bobbie Swift and Mary Womack.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannette Ferguson Cook; daughters, Pam (Roger) Barber and Cheryll Fleming; sons, Jeff (Donna) Cook, Jamie (Lisa) Cook, Jeremy (Iliana) Cook and Bryan (Tina) Honea; grandchildren, Taylor Cook, Cameron Cook, Chris Wilks, DJ Wilks, Faith Cook, Dillon (Ngan) Cook, Priscilla Cook, Nikki Cook, Hank Thaxton, Cassy Thaxton, Dustin Thaxton, Byron (Abby) Honea, Airon (Josh) Wheeler, Stephanie (Richie) Wiggins, Carie (Anthony) White and Casey Fleming; great-grandchildren, Madison White, Sarah White, Emsley Morris, Malakai Bradley, Trevor Honea; great-granddaughter to be born, Emma Wheeler; sisters, Marion Wolf and Donna (Phil) Colbert; brothers, Winston (Brenda) Cook and David (Wanda) Cook; a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, July 25, 2019 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Harris officiating.
