Though we didn't know Willie that well, having only seen him on a few occasion, he was always very nice and polite. As Shannon's brother we know how much he will be missed. So young, too young to go and to leave his children behind is heartbreaking for all. We pray he's with God in a better place now with no pain or sorrow. Will meet his family again in heaven and all will celebrate again.

May his family find peace and remember the years they had together and be grateful for them.

Our sincerest best wishes to all family members and friends.

My memories of Willie Woods were all truly amazing . My best friend Pamyla Bertram and Willie Woods southern hospitality was always so loving. Willie always made me and my family feel welcomed every time we visited Cartersville. We share some really great memories. He was an Angel sent from above to help keep the peace and to help keep smiles on everyone's faces that knew him. May his soul rest peacefully in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. Willie was such a great friend to my son Tommy and he always treated me with kindness and the up most respect. I called him son and he called me mama, that's the kind of relationship we had. I didn't get to see him often but I always ask Tommy about him and his children and always sent my love. My heart goes out to y'all and if there is anything I can do please let me know.
I will always remember you and keep a special place in my heart for you. Rest in peace Willie, I love you.
