Wilma Wells, 87, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on October 27, 2026. Born February 24, 1939, in Masaryktown, Florida, Wilma carried the steady strength of her beginnings with her throughout a long life marked by love given freely, and hardships met with quiet resolve.
To those who knew her best, Wilma was deeply cherished and truly beloved—someone whose presence brought a sense of comfort simply by being near. She had a selfless way of showing care in the everyday moments, offering her time and attention without fanfare, and leaving people feeling seen, supported, and held in her heart. Her resilience was not loud or showy; it lived in the way she kept going, the way she endured, and the way she continued to find purpose and warmth in simple joys.
Wilma found peace and pleasure in the things that made a home feel like home. She loved crocheting, letting patience and tenderness take shape in every stitch. She also enjoyed going to Goodwill—finding small treasures, practical things, and little surprises that spoke to her unassuming, thoughtful spirit.
