Albert Gus Stevens

The family of Gus (A.G. to family) would like to express our most sincere “Thank You” to Donald Cooper, cousin and wonderful friend, and to everyone that touched his life. We are so appreciative for the graciousness shown by all the downtown merchants-especially the Cary Police Department for giving him a purpose and making him feel a part of your respective families.

A.G. “Gus” is survived by his brother, Ronnie (Nancy) Stevens; and by eight nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hallie and Agnes Stevens, and his sisters, Doris Denning and Ellen Layton.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. There will be a private burial at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
