Andrew J. Caamano, 75, passed away on Monday evening, April 29, 2013 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on December 12, 1937 in New York, NY; he was the son of the late Andres and Carmen Caamano. He was honorably discharged from the US Marine Corp after first enlisting into the US Navy.

Andy retired as an accountant and CFO in manufacturing and enjoyed his retirement years with his wife of 53 years, Theresa F. Caamano, of Cary. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Hispanic Club, and the Italian Club.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, their three children: Robert Caamano and wife Michelle, of Heath, TX, Alex Caamano, of Atlanta, GA, and Lisa Anne Brown and husband Robert, of Riverdale, NJ; three grandchildren: Jessica Raciti, of Raleigh, NC, Ashley Perez, of Louisburg, NC and Matthew Brown, of Riverdale, NJ and three great-grandchildren Julian, Nicholas and Isabella.

Andy was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Caamano.

Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, May 5th from 2-4 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Road in Cary). A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 6th, 2013 at St. Michael the Archangel (804 High House Road in Cary), with Military Honors at the church columbarium. A reception will follow in the Parish Center.
