She was born December 30, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of William H. and Eleanor Riddagh Gregg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James T. Stebbins, and two brothers, William (Sally) Gregg and James Gregg; and grandson, John Michael Skovira.
Surviving are her two daughters, Deborah (Joseph) Leise of Laurel, MD, Laura S. (John) Skovira of Poultney, VT; son, Richard Stebbins of Port St. Lucy, FL; sisters, Joan (Mick) Callahan of New Ashford, MA, and Ellen (Ed) VanEck of Cary; brother, Charles (Florence) Gregg of Duxbury, MA; grandchildren, Heather, Joe, Amanda, Emily, Elizabeth, Julie, Danny, and Michelle. She is also survived by nieces Liz, Erin, Meredith and Jennifer; and nephews, Bill, Richard, James, Taylor and Matthew; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary.
