She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude L. Grimm, her sister Bernice Baker, of Middleport, OH, and her two brothers, Lester Johnson of Parkersburg, WV, and Lynford Johnson of Winter Haven, FL.
Mrs. Grimm is survived by her six children, Michael P. (Georgina) Grimm and Joseph L. (Valerie) Grimm of Naples, FL, Steven J. Grimm of Jonesboro, GA, Jeffrey B. (Elizabeth) Grimm of Asheville, NC, Mary Ann (Roger) Windon and Scott B. (Ellen) Grimm of Cary, NC, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Genesis United Methodist Church in Cary on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Internment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Letart, WV.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Genesis United Methodist Church Children’s Ministries or to Hospice of Wake County.
