Brian Thomas Hughes, age 27, of Knightdale, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Brian, a graduate of East Carolina University, was an electrical engineer for Siemens Industry in Wendell, NC.
Brian had a deep love for his family and enjoyed spending time with them around a fire, watching movies, playing games and power lifting.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Brenna Hughes of Durham, NC, his mother Deborah Rider of Williamstown, MA, his grandparents Edith and Dale Cadran, and Patricia Scalabrin, his siblings Krysta (Dan) Emmons, Kristina Belanger, Brett (Ashna) Hughes, Megan and Kyra Anderson, and his nephew Ayden Hahn, and nieces Alix and Adeline Belanger.

A memorial service for Brian will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511.
