Still missing our conversations, remembering when we carpooled to work and so many funny experiences.
Truly miss Carol, we did have some great laughs.  Carol is the first person I've met with a dry-wit sarcastic sense of humor like mine.

Wow, it's been 6 months since you left us. I still can't believe it is true.  We had some crazy times together, commuting the 405 kept us laughing.
I miss having you to call when I need a good discussion on a matter. 
We both went through some tough times and we were there to support each other.

I’ll never forget the day I met Carol. She walked into Petco looking for the dog trainer (me). I was called up to the front and there she was. She broke down in tears and the first words were “I have an aggressive golden retriever puppy.” After speaking with her about Conrad she decided she was going to take my training class. It was almost instantly we bonded. After a few classes we became friends. Our friendship was not an ordinary friendship. Carol was like my second mom. I knew if I needed advice on anything she would give me an honest opinion and definitely not a sugar coated one. Fast forward 10 years. Soon after Carol moved to North Carolina, she needed help with her new pup Carter. She called me and asked for advice and I told her I would go to NC to help. My husband and I packed a few of our belongings and drove out. We ended up finding a house and moving.  Carol was my family. She put on the mom hat, the friend hat, the sister hat. She was someone that was always there no matter what. A year after we moved to North Carolina, I found out I was pregnant. Since all of my family was in California, Carol hosted my gender reveal and baby shower. We were talking about what my baby would call her and Grandma Carol was how I wanted Arya to know her as. Carol and I were so close that when I had a craving she did to, when I had a cramp she felt it even when we were miles apart. I was on the phone with her when my water broke. I loved her so much. Carol will always be a part of me. 

Carol was my sister-in-law's neighbor and I became friends with her as well. She loved sitting on her front porch looking over the cul-de-sac and her beautiful flowers. Every time I came to see my sister-in-law, I would look to see if Carol was on the front porch. She most always was. We'd spend a few minutes chatting before I went in.  I will miss Carol on the front porch! Rest in peace my friend.

The moment I met Carol, I knew we would become close. I was her hairstylist for years. 
Her humor, her love of dogs, her love and patience for her daughters, her love of her grandson were just some of the wonderful things about her. Then there was her intelligence and understanding of life. 
We grew close, and I will truly miss her laughter and our talks. The world was a better place with her in it.  Love you Carol

It was a warm day and wanted to see who was out there. I had signed into the dating site called "Our Time" . No sooner after I posted my profile I get a message from someone. So I responded to the message, we messaged each other , in final sending her my phone #. I immediately contacted the dating site and cancelled my subscription, (refund).
That Monday night Carol called me and we talked for 3 hours, only to find out we had met 20 years prior when I did escort work for the county of Los Angeles. 
Well low and behold we ran through the gambit of who, what, when, where and how ! Now we set up a date for Friday night, she said she can't make it because she has another engagement. Well that didn't happen. So we met and guess what, we haven't been apart since. Sure we had our ups and downs, but who moves across country and buys a house with them and only known each other for a year.  And the best thing yet, we are not married, she would not marry me, not even for $10,000.00. But she did love me very as I loved her very much. 
Now "Our Time" has ended, but never forgotten. Love Randy

Well I have to say we did have " Our Time " together. That is where we first met. We have had our time together, even though it was short. Though the who, when what, where, and how of it all will be a loving lasting memory and wish I could download all the great concerts, trips to Vegas, or anywhere we went, it was fun, travel and adventure for us both.  And would love to show the joy we enjoyed together, because it was " Our Time " Rest In Peace, my loving Carol.

And that is how we met, in cardio rehab in October of 2018! And the rest is a 16 month history of lots of laughter and crazy girl talk! I was blessed to have had Carol in my life even though she was taken from us all way too soon. RIP my very special friend.
