Her mother, Margaret Robinson English and father, Arthur Hood English, preceded her in death.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Terry Harris; sister Margaret Anne Smith and husband, Bill; son, Christopher Harris and wife Paris; daughter, Lura Kelly and husband, Fred; grandchildren, Crystal Baker, Jonathan Baker, Walter Harris, and Grant Harris; great grandchild, Alexandra Rose Tyson.
A memorial service will be held at the Glenaire Retirement Center in Cary on Friday April 29 at 2:00pm; a reception follows.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dorcas Ministries of Cary (dorcas-cary.org) or Glenaire Annual Appeal (glenaire.org) would be welcome.
