Charles Glenn Painter, 42, of Cary passed away peacefully August 6, 2012, at Wake County Hospice Home, after a lengthy illness. Charles was born May 14, 1970 at Rex Hospital to Donald Lee and Sharon Rundle Painter of Cary. He was a graduate of Cherry Creek High School and TH Pickens Technical College in Denver, CO.
Charles is survived by his parents; his brother, Brad Lee Painter, 46, (Heather) of Boulder, CO; nieces, Jordan (18) and Brooke (6): nephews, Matthew (20) and Jake (1); his grandmother, Rojean Rundle (93) of Denver, CO; Godmother, Ann Talton of Cary; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, F.E. Rundle and grandparents, Harvey and Gladys Painter, all of Denver, CO; Godfather, Judson Talton of Cary; and his beloved cat, Hodges.
Services for Charles will take place on August 13, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
The family would like to thank all of the people who befriended Charles and helped make his life so rewarding. Charles enjoyed family, sweet tea, the LSU Tigers, bowling, sports and the Power Ball. He was loved by all and will be profoundly missed.
