He attended Cary High School and was a 2012 graduate from Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, VA. He was an Eagle Scout who loved the outdoors and had a great passion for football.
He is survived by his parents, Darryl and Kimberly Wood Rodgers and a brother, Justin.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Hope Community Church, 821 Buck Jones Road, Raleigh, NC 27606. Burial will follow at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Green Hope School Road, Cary, NC 27519.
