Christina Allison Meldrum Himmelmann

Christina Allison Meldrum Himmelmann, age 88, of Cary, North Carolina passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. Born on January 9, 1937 in Glasgow, Scotland; she was the daughter of the late James and Jane Sinclair.

Raised in Scotland, she came to the United States in 1961 as an au pair. After a year and a half, she returned to Scotland only to receive an invitation back from a friend to work in New York for a Food Brokerage Company. Christina met Edward F. Himmelmann in her building and they married October 1977. They enjoyed 47 years of marriage; traveling extensively in Europe, the United Kingdom and the US. An avid reader, she collected owl figurines and together, Chrissie and Ed retired in 2020 to the Windsor Community in Cary, North Carolina.

She is survived by her husband: Ed. F. Himmelmann; and her brother: Robert "Bob" Sinclair; four nieces and one nephew, all of Glasgow, Scotland.
