In Loving Memory of Clarence Wegmann 1924 – 2025
Clarence Wegmann passed peacefully on March 3, 2025, shortly after celebrating his 100th birthday.
Clarence was a loving husband to his late wife Mildred and a beloved stepfather to Douglass Gollehon and his wife Rebecca. He took pride in his grandchildren Gavin, Erin, and Rachel Gollehon, and found joy in his great-grandson Parker.
A long career with the railroad after serving his country in World War II, Clarence embodied dedication throughout his life. His commitment to family defined his early years and was the cornerstone of his character.
Deeply committed to his Catholic faith, Clarence was an active member of his church and supported numerous charitable causes. His religious beliefs instilled sincerity and practical kindness.
Clarence appreciated simple pleasures: playing golf, enjoying poker with friends, and relaxing with a glass of red wine or Guinness. His decades-long friendships spoke to his genuine nature and lasting connections.
Clarence leaves behind a legacy of hard work, faith, and family commitment. He will be remembered for his integrity, warmth, and the quiet way he touched the lives of those around him. May he rest in peace.
