Daniel was born September 18, 1972 in Smithtown, NY to Daniel Thomas and Phyllis Macchia. He was a graduate of North Carolina State University where he received his bachelor’s and master’s of education. He was a special pure spirit and an avid sports and Carolina Hurricanes fan. He went home to heaven to be with his beloved grandparents who preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, sister, brother-in-law, grandmother, and most cherished nephew Dominic.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
