Deanna Marie Sykes

Mrs. Sykes was born in Burlington, NC to the late Odis and Gloria Fogleman. A devoted wife, mother and Maw-Maw, her greatest joy in life was her family and supporting her grandchildren in all their sporting events.

Mrs. Sykes is preceded in death by brother Johnny Fogleman.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, James Sykes; sons, Todd Sykes and his wife, Angel, John Sykes and his wife, Stephanie; daughter, Shannon Golas and her husband, Vinny; grandchildren, Holden, Garrett, Madison, Hunter, Mason and Landon; sister, Felicia Massey and her husband, Mike; brother, Junior Fogleman and his wife, Judy; sister-in-law, Sue Fogleman and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 5, 2018 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
