Diana Ameduri

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Diana never fully lost her Brooklyn style. She loved fiercely and lived for her family. Her grandsons were her world from the moment they were born. Her daughter, Stacy, was the light of her life, and the “best Valentine gift ever.” She loved all things music. She spent years working with producers in the music industry in New York and was a treasure trove of music trivia knowledge. She loved to dance, anywhere at any time. If the music was on, she was moving. When she was healthy and able, she was always the first one on the dance floor…sometimes the only one on the dance floor!

But above all else, the one true and greatest love of her life was her beloved Joe. Her husband of nearly half a century, her best friend, her protector, and in the last several years, her full-time caregiver. His love for her is equally as deep and it showed with every caring touch and day that went by. Her absence leaves an emptiness that won’t soon be filled.

Diana is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Joseph, her daughter Stacy (Bill) Kivett of Apex, and her grandsons William and Michael (Kivett) whom she loved to the moon and back.

Diana is also survived by her brother Mel (Helaine) of Florida; sisters-in-law Lucille Ameduri and Annamaria (Billy) Palumbo who were sisters by heart if not by blood, and Brother-in-law Christopher (Michele) Ameduri. Diana also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews who she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bessie and Samuel Slepowitz, brother Ronnie Grebler and nephew Scott Grebler.

Services for Diana will be held on Monday, January 8, 2023 at 11:00am at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511. Entombment will follow at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Green Hope School Rd, Cary, NC 27519.
