Dolores Murakeozy, 94, left this world as she lived – quietly and sweetly on March 21st, 2022. She was born and raised in Banhalma, Hungary until World War II drove her family from their home to seek refuge in the United States. A small interment service will be held on Friday, April 1st, 2022 at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church Columbarium in Fuquay-Varina, NC at 11 am.
She is survived by her children, Les Murakeozy (Robin) and Ria (Kenneth) Beasley and one brother Bill Schmidt (Sandy), along with three beloved cousins – Pauline Martin, Maria McDonald and Josephine Harkay. Preceding her in death were two brothers and their wives, Albert Schmidt (Eva) and Zeno Schmidt deFoeldvar (Lynn).
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022 from 4-6 pm at The Upper Deck Sports Bar & Pub in Cary, NC at 329 N Harrison Avenue.
