
Dolores was born July 8, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Al Brown and Jean Shalov Brown. Dolores was an avid reader; compassionate; giving; and loving to all. Dolores was an experienced traveler and enjoyed exploring new places with family and friends. She was a resident of Heritage Pines in Cary for the past seven years, but always considered herself a New Yorker.
Dolores is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Levy.
She is survived by her husband, of 62 years, Irving Silberberg; daughter, Amy Beth Demsko and her husband, Mitchell; son, Brian Silberberg and his wife Jani; son-in-law, Richard Levy and his wife, Syndee; grandchildren, Ashley and Jessica Demsko; Josh and his wife, Kristen, Adam and Jared Silberberg; and Jillian Levy; sister, Carole Grand and her husband, Stan; brother-in-law, Joseph Silberberg; sister-in-law, Judith Warner; cousins, Arlene and Irwin Berkowitz; many loving nieces; nephews; grand nieces and nephews; and other cherished family and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1:30 pm Friday, February 10, 2012 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Burial will follow the service at the Raleigh Hebrew Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00-1:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
