Donald Tucker, age 55, died August 19, 2026. Born April 24, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio, Donald built a life marked by steady dedication and a generous spirit that was felt by those who knew him. Through the years, his quiet strength showed in the way he approached responsibilities with care, offered help without hesitation, and treated others with genuine kindness.
Donald was employed with World Courier and served as the operations manager for the RDU location. In his work, he was known for a strong work ethic and a dependable presence—someone others could count on, not only for getting the job done, but for doing so with consideration and respect.
Donald was preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel Tucker and Kenneth Tucker. He is survived by his mother, Joanne Tucker; father, Von Tucker; sister, Cynthia Kaelin (Regan); sister-in-law, Lisa Copensky-Tucker; friend, Amy Davis; nephew, Frank Watts; nieces, Lindsey Griffin, and Kathryn Watts.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 1pm Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 200 SE Maynard Rd., Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends 12pm -1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Cary.
