I worked at the Chronicle/NSWeeklies with Dottie for many years. I still have the picture taken of her and I, Bill, Mary, Romeo, and others...with the ceremonial shovel on the old Grossman's site. It was freezing that day but we were making history.
Dottie was the Best!!
Dottie was a lady of Class, and yet she could always share a smile, laugh, or tears.
Dottie could throw a party! I remember a baby shower at her house - she didnt leave anything out!!
And now she gets to be with the angels. I lift my glass to you sweet lady, thanking you for all the memories. Love Kathryn

I only met Dottie one time but it make an lasting impression. I loved her blue/yellow decorating. I wish time had allowed me more visiting with Dottie. At last she is at peace and the demons of cancer no longer control her.

We were so saddened to hear about Dottie's passing. We got married last April and Dottie helped my husband design my wedding ring and wedding band. In addition she was a big help with our invitations and programs. We enjoyed getting to know her over the last few years. She was such a special person and will be missed.
