She is the daughter of the late Francis E. Goldbold, Sr. and Lola Beatrice Northcutt. Edna was born in Wake County in 1941. Edna was pre-deceased by her husband, Marcus M. Bowen in 1985. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Bowen Taylor, her two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. A Graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
