

Edward Joseph Krynicki was taken home to the Lord tragically in an accident Friday, April 6, 2012 in Cary NC. Eddie was the beloved son of Gary Carl Krynicki and Margie Walker. Eddie was born in Berlin Germany and enjoyed travel as part of a military family. He lived in Berlin Germany, Washington State, Okinawa, Japan, Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville NC, and Panama, and then spent his last years in NC at Ft Bragg and Cary. Eddie was a graduate of Cary High School and trained for a brief time at Wake Technical Community College. He learned to cook at an early age enjoying watching his father cook family meals for his Polish American family. Eddie began his first apprenticeship in the culinary arts when he was seventeen. He worked at Maximillian’s restaurant at both locations. Eddie worked at Maximillian’s for many years and moved up the ranks from kitchen helper to sous chef and eventually became the executive chef at Maximillian’s. He also worked for a brief time at Herons of Cary, and Solas in Raleigh. Eddie’s exquisite sense of flavors and taste in his food creations came from his diverse world travels in Asia and South America.
Eddie is survived by his parents, Gary Krynicki and Margie Walker; grandfather, Joseph Walker; sisters and brother in laws, Amy and Noah Wellman and Melanie and Adam Long; nieces and nephews, Mollie, Makyla, John Wyatt, and Isaac Long; stepmother, Jean Ristaino; stepbrother, Joseph Ristaino; stepsister, Sarah Ristaino; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive condolences at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary NC Tuesday evening, April 10, 2012 from 6:30-9:00p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex NC on Wednesday morning, April 11, 2012 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Cary NC.
