Eleanor was preceded in death by her devoted husband Carl Piampiano and her cherished daughter, Carol McCarty, who passed away peacefully just 2 days prior. The family takes great comfort in knowing they are together in God’s Kingdom.
Eleanor was a hard working family provider her entire life. She held two jobs during the Great Depression, worked as a steel welder during World War 2 and enjoyed a long career at the Beverly Country Club in Chicago. A devout Catholic, Eleanor believed fiercely in the power of prayer. Her countless hours of prayerful meditation and Novenas helped so many of her family and friends over the years. She will be sorely missed by all of us.
Funeral arrangements are private.
