Eliot Bruno Gareton, 18, died Monday, May 10, 2010. He was born December 2, 1991 in North Tarrytown, NY. Eliot was a graduating senior with honors at Green Hope High School, played football all 4 years at Green Hope and was accepted to attend the Engineering program at NCSU this fall.
Eliot is survived by his mother, Sandra Gareton of Cary, father, Bruno Gareton and step-mother, Claudia Stadtlander of Cary; sister, Julie Gareton of Cary; step-sister, Grace Byrne, step-brother, Henry Byrne; maternal grandfather, Glenwood Zimmerman; paternal grandparents, Jean Claude Gareton and Otilde Gareton.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 14, 2010 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd., Cary.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 pm, Thursday, May 13 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Eliot’s memory to Green Hope Football, 2500 Carpenter Upchurch Road, Cary, NC 27519.
