Sister- in-law, Ernie, was 'the best'! Always welcomed us - wherever she lived - Church street, and Woodstone Rd. In Rockaway, NJ; Mt. Tabor; and Cary, NC. We always stopped 'on our way' to and from Florida in the winter. She welcomed us with open arms, and if, by chance, we just could not make it to her house, she was very upset. She even welcomed any dog we had. - first Amie, then Jette, now Ginger, with a bone and a big
Our kids looked forward to seeing 'AunErnie' when they were
younger and traveled with us. Going to, and coming home from FL will just. NOT be the same!"

We all loved you, and will miss you Ernie!!

Love, Jane, Don. Brian, Boey, David, Dan and Wendy (and Ginger too!).

Our darling Ernie was the matriarch of our neighborhood. She endeared herself to all of us with her warm, welcoming smile and her grace, wit, and wisdom. Ernie has left an indelible mark on us. Rest in peace, dear friend. Our hearts go out to Judy and the family.

I remember what a great time we had when Ernie and her husband came to visit me in Park Rapids. They were the perfect host and hostess when I went to Raleigh to visit them and we drove to NJ to the Wintermute reunion. I will surely miss hearing from Ernie at Christmas time and feel so privileged that I got to know her. She was one of the warmest people I had a chance to get to know through our geneology searches.

Keep your memories of Ernie close to your heart for she was a lady that we will all miss.
