Gerald Allen Josephson

Gerald was born September 24, 1935 in Alger County, Michigan to the late Waldemar and Mary Groleau Josephson. He graduated from the US Merchant Marines Academy at King's Point was a veteran of the US Navy and was employed as a field engineer with IBM retiring with over 30 years of service. Gerald was a member of Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and a lifelong fan of NC State University.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edith Benson Josephson; daughters, Linda Josephson and Susan Miller; sons, Gerald, Steven, Eric and David Josephson; brother, Jim Josephson; sister, Diane Sabourin; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Josephson and sister, Marlene O'Hara.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11am Monday, November 7, 2016 at Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Rd, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511.
