Gladys Evelyn Harrod

She is survived by her sons, Ronald Dean Harrod and Paul Melvin Harrod; grandchildren, Stephen Douglas Harrod, Andrew Paul Harrod, Benjamin Leon Harrod, and Kenrda Lyn Harrod; great grandchildren, Victoria, Landon, Bentley, and Sadie; sister, Phyllis Marks; and daughter in law, Elizabeth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Leon Harrod; a sister, Doris Milner Hall; two brothers, Bertram ”Sonny” John and William Dale Milner; and a granddaughter Kimberly Lyn Harrod.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 2:00PM in the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612.

Immediately following the interment, a reception will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home.
