Harry Ronald Brown, 80, died Thursday, April 1, 2010. He was born in Altoona, PA on October 9, 1929 to Roy and Beatrice Brown. Harry and his family relocated to the Cary area after he retired from the US Marine Corp in 1968.
Harry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Madeline Brown of Cary; daughters, Tammy Grinnell and husband, Robert, of Cary, Sheila Kelly and husband, Hugh, of Cary; sister, Lois Fleck of Altoona, PA; three grandchildren, Rachel Groome and husband, Andy, of Cary, Andrew Grinnell of Raleigh and Christopher Grinnell of Cary.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 5, 2010 at St. Michael’s the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary. Burial will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
