Hazel Westbrook Raynor, 95, of Raleigh, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.
Hazel was born July 12, 1916 in Newton Grove, NC to the late James A. Westbrook and Mollie Hill Westbrook. She was a member of Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church. Hazel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert David Raynor.
Hazel is survived by her sons, Richard Raynor; and Harry Raynor both of Raleigh; grandchildren, David Raynor; Michael Raynor; Mary Beth Ekland; Lisa Raynor; and Wendy Noriskin; and great grandchildren, Brooks Ekland; and Savannah Ekland.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, May 25, 2012 at Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 4900 Kaplan Drive, Raleigh, NC 27606. Burial will follow the service at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the church.
