Ida Marie Demarco-Stout

Ida Marie DeMarco-Stout was born on January 14, 1926 in New Egypt, New Jersey to Clarence Johnson and Helen Ford Johnson. Marie spent most of her lifetime in Toms River, New Jersey raising her family and working at the Ocean County Courthouse. After retirement she moved to Cary, NC to be closer to her family.

Marie is survived by daughters Joan Robertson and husband Randy and Nanci DeMarco. She was predeceased by her son Thomas Anthony DeMarco Jr. in September 2010. Marie was the beloved grandmother to Nicole DeMarco and husband Jason, Anthony DeMarco, John Robertson, Anna Robertson McElroy and husband Chris and Kelsey Adams. Marie was predeceased by her 5 brothers and sisters and was a thoughtful loving Aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Marie was an avid bowler and looked forward to Tuesday and Thursday afternoons spending time with her bowling buddies. While in Cary Marie enjoyed attending Kirk Presbyterian church where she made many wonderful friends. She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Toms River, NJ where she will be interred.

Services will be held on Monday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown Wynne Funeral Home located at 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends following the service.
