She was preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Dayberry. Irene is survived by her three sons Jerry, Kenneth and Michael Dayberry.
She was a longtime member of the Swift Creek Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11 at 11:00 am at Swift Creek Baptist Church, 9300 Penny Road, Raleigh.
