Irene was a sweet lady and a great friend to me and Roy. She was my mentor when I started working at Square D.   She was very kind and always wanted to be helpful.  Rest in Peace, dear friend.

Irene was a special person to me.  She was my sister in-law and sister 
to Elaine my wife.  We grew up together, from Hempstead High 
school, thru our marriages, raising kids  and the death of our spouses.
Irene and Vic were very active in the church and dancing with t he Little German Band. in full authentic costume. They were both all
community folks.  We shared  lots our good times and not so many
bad times.  First I lost Elaine then she lost Victor.     Irene and I
wished that our kids , my 4 and her 3 would have continued the 
Catholic religion as they were raised.  We both tried to be good 
parents.  Oh well.  Please have Mass said for Irene.   Now Irene, Elaine, Charlie, and their parents, Charles,and Amelia  are together
in Heaven as the Scibelli family again.  God bless them all!!!

Remember many years of dancing with them in the Little German Band and Dancers. We will never forget   Irene's flying shoe.

Irene and Vic were our next door neighbors  for many years-great neighbors!  Vic and my husband died before Irene moved to Florida, but I have so many good memories of our times together- eating out, playing dominoes, or just visiting. Now I miss both of them, and their son  Ken, who left
us way too soon. He was a wonderful person.
Love and sympathy to  the boys and their families and a special thanks to Jennifer Finley, who was a caretaker and friend to Irene after Ken died.

William & I both vividly remember when Irene & Vic took us under their wing when we joined the Little German Band & Dancers. Even with the age difference, all 4 of us immediately formed a special bond. They spent a lot of time & even more effort teaching us the dances that we needed to be able to perform! Irene felt like a sister to me & Vic, a brother! My nickname growing up was “Rene” and we shared the same birth month- so I felt an immediate connection! We both loved & respected them dearly!

Irene was a dear, dear friend...part of a group of four women who bonded later in life and enjoyed many activities together. She always had a great sense of humor and a kind word for others.  Ken's girlfriend, Jen, loved her dearly and looked after Irene after Ken died in Florida. May you rest in peace, dear Irene. I will always love you.

I met Irene when I was working at Square D / Schneider Electric in Raleigh. She was always so positive and kind, taking time to talk with people. She always had a ready smile. Years later, after I had left Square D, I was delighted to discover Irene again with the Little German Band! Just as kind as ever...

My dear friend Irene. She sounded stronger than ever last time I spoke with her, a few months ago I think.  I am sorry to hear of your loss.  She and Vic were wonderful friends as we raised our children, and as we watched you three boys continue to grow and evolve.  My sympathies to you all.

Irene was a beloved member of the St. Michael choir and prayer groups.  Since we announced her passing, many people have reached out.  Our prayers to the family.
May perpetual light shine upon her and may she rest in peace.
