I consider myself a very lucky person to have been able to know Jim and have so many hours of his company. I was very grateful when Jim (and Sandra) were willing to take a chance on Melissa and I by going in on our beach condo together. I had no idea at the time just how great it would be being able to get to know Jim so much more. Hearing his stories, just talking about general stuff, and trying to learn from him. Golfing, fishing, or working on projects, he loved to share his knowledge and teach. He is a true craftsman that could do anything he set his mind to, and make it look perfect when he was done. Through the years, he always kept us laughing, no matter how bad he might be feeling. It was hard not to be happy when Jim was in the room. I will always see you at your workbench, or at the table on the condo balcony, fishing with me, or on the golf course. Those places won't be the same anymore. I wish I had gotten to know him earlier in life, but I am so greatful for the years he was part of my life. It has taken me about a month to finally post something. Kept thinking I could come up with the right words to try to do justice to what it was like to be close to Jim, but there none. Miss you Jimmy.

Sandra - you and Jim came into our lives many years ago and offered us a nurturing and loving friendship. Living on weekends with the two of you at our beach place will be memories we will hold close to our hearts forever. Those were fun times we had you just to ourselves....our little family. Jim always made me laugh, feel special and loved.....I will miss his infectious laugh, smile, and big hugs. Rest in peace Jim - you are a very special man and I feel blessed to have been a part of your world. XOXO

Sandra, Oh my! I am so sorry for your loss. Don, Cassidy, Conor and I have such wonderful memories of our times together on Schaffer Close! We were truly blessed to have had you and Jim as neighbors and friends. I am so glad that I got to visit with you two in the office several weeks back. I will never forget Jim's teasing (the TV channel changing is our favorite) and loving with Cassidy as she grew up beside you. His smile and twinkling eyes were always so delightful to see. They are now memories that we will hold dear forever. Please know that we love you! Rest in peace dear Jim.
