She was born February 22, 1951 in Winston-Salem, a daughter of William Farish and Roberta Van Hoy Ray. She married Matthew J. Plaskie Jr. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2014.
She is survived by her step-son, Mark Plaskie; sister, Catharine (Gerald) Dudeck; sister-in-law, Cathie (Harry) Bizette; father-in-law, Matthew J. Plaskie Sr.; two nephews, Tom Dudeck and Joe (Kirsten Helmcke) Dudeck; and several other extended family.
Jane worked for the DHHS in the Medicaid Division for 18 years as a Registered Nurse.
A mass to celebrate the life of Jane and her husband Matthew J. Plaskie Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July, 14, 2014 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the mass at church.
