Janet was born on July 25, 1948, in St. Paul, MN, to the late Herbert Charles Morton and Doris Liebenberg Morton. Janet attended the University of Wisconsin and received a PhD at North Carolina State University.
Janet is survived by her sister, Martha Fusaro, of Westchester County, NY and her niece, Laura Fusaro, of New York, NY.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Covenant Life Church in Cary. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 1st, 2016, at 11:00 am at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary. Interment will follow the funeral at Wake Memorial Park.
