My Mom was a kind and loving soul. She was strong through life's twists and turns. She was always true to her faith and steadfast in the grace from her Lord and Saviour. We will miss her earthly presence mightily and cherish our many memories with peace in knowing she is now fully restored in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

What lives in my heart at the passing of Grandma Jan, as my kids called her, is the warmth that she welcomed me and my daughters, Gwen and Sam, with whenever we had the pleasure in sharing in one of her visits to Illinois. She will always be a part of the memories I so fondly posses of that time in my life. She was a blessing and will continue to be through the many lives she has touched.
