"When Marvin and I were members of Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church, two of the people we remember for their kindness and warmth were Jean and Bob. I also remember driving with you both to New Berne as a member of OWLS.That was a great group of people. What a wonderful lady and I know there are many who have fond memories of Jean. I was always amazed that she laughed at all of Bob's corny jokes just she had just heard them for the first time. She was a grand lady who made an impact on many people's lives. I am honored to have known her.
We contributed to the Durham Rescue Mission as a memorial to Jean. Thank you for being a part of my life and may your spirit and love continue in loving memories for years to come."

I had the privilege of working with Jean at the MacGregor Kerr Drugs back in the early 90s. She was quite a lady. May her beautiful spirit live on in your memories. My prayers are with you.

We know how very proud of you your mother must have been. You were such a good and loving son who loved his mother very much. We know you will miss her, but hold her dearly in your heart always.
